One product. Every payment scenario.
Down payments, weekly notes, service deposits, doc fees, delivery fees, RO balances — Lotly Payments handles the whole book.
Your Stripe account, your rate
You connect the Stripe account your store owns. You pay Stripe directly at whatever rate you have with them. Lotly bills a flat monthly software fee and takes 0% of the transaction.
Text-to-pay
Send a payment link over SMS. Your customer taps once, pays in seconds -- Apple Pay, Google Pay, or card. No apps, no logins, no portals.
Itemized invoices
Add line items with quantity and unit price for down payments, weekly notes, RO parts & labor, docs and taxes. The customer sees exactly what they're paying for.
Automatic reminders
Unpaid link? We nudge at 24 hours, 72 hours, and 7 days over SMS and email. Reminders auto-cancel the moment they pay.
Optional surcharging
Pass the credit-card fee to the customer where it's legal. Default 2.95%, hard-capped at 4%, blocked on debit -- so you stay Durbin-compliant automatically.
Cards on file
Save a card once, charge it later in one click. Perfect for BHPH weekly payments, service deposits, and repeat customers.
Bulk requests
Upload a CSV of your BHPH book. Send hundreds of payment links in one shot with a 4/second throttle so carriers stay happy.
Branded PDF + SMS receipts
The second a payment lands, your customer gets a branded PDF receipt by email and a short thank-you text with a link to the receipt. No manual work.
Refunds & reports
One-click refunds (partial or full), a live payments dashboard, CSV export for reconciliation, and a full audit trail on every transaction.
QuickBooks + Xero sync
Every paid invoice posts to QuickBooks Online or Xero automatically. Processing fees hit a separate expense account so your books reconcile the first time.
Three steps from text to paid.
Create the request
Pick a customer, add line items, choose whether to pass the card fee. Takes 20 seconds.
Send the link
We text them a secure pay-link. Apple Pay, Google Pay, or card -- their choice.
You get paid
Funds land on your schedule. Receipt sent automatically. Reminders handle the rest.
One workflow for every payment on the lot.
Down payments, doc fees, delivery deposits -- collected before the car leaves the lot.
Weekly note collection with saved cards, automatic reminders, and bulk requests when Friday hits.
Approve the estimate over text, collect the deposit, then charge the balance when the RO closes.
Answers before you ask.
Whose merchant account is this?+
Yours. Lotly Payments runs on a Stripe account in your dealership's name — connect one you already have, or open one during onboarding in a few minutes. The processing relationship and the rate stay between you and Stripe.
What does Lotly take on each transaction?+
Nothing. There is no per-transaction markup, no platform percentage, and no revenue share on your processing. Lotly charges a flat monthly software fee for the product — that is the whole bill. Stripe's own processing fees are charged by Stripe, straight to your account, at your rate.
How does that compare to the other guys?+
Podium, Kimoby, and Swell all resell the processing — the payments run through their merchant account at their pricing, not yours, and Podium's agreement is a 12-month auto-renewing contract. With Lotly the merchant account is yours, the processing rate is yours, and the software is month-to-month.
Can I really pass the credit-card fee to my customer?+
In most U.S. states, yes -- for credit cards only. Debit surcharging is blocked at the software level to keep you Durbin-compliant. We default to 2.95% and cap it at 4%.
What about chargebacks?+
You get a live dispute view in the dashboard and email alerts the moment one opens. We help you compile the evidence packet.
Do you charge extra for SMS?+
No. Text-to-pay, reminders, and SMS receipts are all included. No per-message fees.
How do saved cards work with BHPH?+
Once the customer pays once, you can save the card with their consent. Then every Friday you click Charge and the note is collected -- no back-and-forth over text.
Can I use Lotly Payments without the AI receptionist?+
Yes. Lotly Payments is a standalone product. You can subscribe to it on its own -- and if you later want the AI receptionist too, you flip it on from the same dashboard.
